We know it can be difficult buying clothes online because you can’t try them on, so here’s our size guide to help you pick the right size for you.

We recommend you get your best fitting tee or hoody (for example) you own, lie it down and measure it against these guides. These measurements are for one side of each garment as it is laying down.

We apologise if the size or item you are looking for is out of stock. All of our products are created in small batches to make them more bespoke, limited edition almost. However, feel free to contact us by email or by any of our social media messenger channels to let us know what you are looking for. Our team will then see what we can do on an individual basis! We’d be more than happy to help, just talk to us.

Ethical Responsibility

We believe social and environmental responsibility has never been up for debate. At Black Spell we endeavour to try and only use waterbased inks on our apparel, as opposed to the mass market standard plastisol ink. Plastisol’s chemical base is made up of something called polyvinyl chloride (or PVC), which is composed of a plasticizer liquid and PVC resin (i.e. harmful chemicals). PVC is valued for its ease of use and versatility in mass production.

As a compound, water-based ink is much more gentle on the environment than plastisol ink. It simply doesn’t contain any of the toxic chemicals of its plastisol counterparts (no PVC, no phthalates). Instead it’s comprised of naturally occurring substances.

Your order will be sent to you in one of our compostable mailers, designed to be 100% recyclable. Degradable mailing bags are a better choice for the environment and provide a way for us to minimise our waste. These mailing bags come with a secondary use glue line seal, so once you have retrieved your Black Spell items, we encourage you to re-use them! Your items will be sent out to you wrapped in paper where possible or naked, as to reduce the use of plastic (which is normally used as a single use garment sleeve).

Returns Policy

If you make a purchase and it’s not a perfect fit, you can easily return it to us for an exchange! Read our full policy here. For your peace of mind, Black Spell offers a 30 day exchange policy on unwanted/wrong size items. We will happily exchange an item for you if it is the wrong size or is simply unwanted within 30 days of being purchased from blackspell.co.uk, providing it is unworn/it is in the same condition it was delivered to you in. If you have any questions, feel free to drop us an email at contact@blackspell.co.uk.

At Black Spell we offer FAST AND FREE shipping on all of our items! You will find your order automatically qualifies for this at the checkout. As standard, orders are shipped FAST AND FREE by Royal Mail 24/48 hour services. For just £1.50 you can have your parcel sent to you tracked (with SMS and email updates) using Royal Mail’s Tracked 24/48 hour services. If you REALLY cant wait for your Black Spell goodness, we offer a Special Delivery (by 1pm next day) service for £5.99. We aim to dispatch orders made by 12pm lunchtime the same day, if not our customers can be assured that items ordered will be on their way the following working day. If you have any questions, feel free to drop us an email at contact@blackspell.co.uk.

Coronavirus Update

Vinyl Transfer Application

Our vinyl transfers are designed with your lifestyle in mind. They are made to be stuck perfectly to your surfboard, skateboard, snowboard, helmet, computer, car, van, guitar, drum kit, amplifier – you name it!

In order to make your Black Spell vinyl transfer last, please make sure you clean the area you are applying the vinyl to throughly. Peel the backing paper off slowly, keeping the design in place on the application paper. Stick the design in place and apply pressure with a cloth over the entire application paper, making sure it is all stuck down. Run your finger over the edges of the design through the application paper to be thorough. Once you have stuck the vinyl down, very carefully peel the application paper off, as to keep the design as perfect as it was when it was cut out in the vinyl. A rub over with a clean cloth is always good to double check there are no air bubbles left under the vinyl.
